The first week of 2022 marked a personal breakthrough: I finally carved out time to pursue my long-held dream of creating electronic music. My musical journey had evolved from mainstream electronic to house, then deep house, and ultimately to the haunting, atmospheric genre known as witch house. Armed with Ableton Live and a week of dedicated focus, I channeled years of listening and learning into creating four original tracks under the moniker "Darker Dreamer." The process was both challenging and therapeutic – layering dark synths, distorted vocals, and heavy bass to create the ethereal, occult-inspired soundscapes that define witch house. Publishing these tracks on darkerdreamer.com felt like releasing a part of myself that had been dormant for too long. Sometimes the most fulfilling projects are the ones that feed our creative souls rather than our bank accounts.
