Inspired by Charles Coonradt's "The Game of Work," I built what I call my "Game of Life Dashboard" – a comprehensive tracking system for all the metrics that contribute to personal happiness and success. This isn't just another productivity tool; it's a holistic life management system that pulls data from multiple sources to give me a complete picture of my well-being. Health metrics flow in automatically from my Oura ring (sleep, HRV, activity) and Withings scale (weight, body composition), while financial data syncs through the YNAB API to track spending, savings, and net worth. The social component analyzes conversation frequency and contact patterns from my phone to ensure I'm maintaining meaningful relationships. Productivity is measured through completed tasks across various projects. Having all these metrics in one place has been transformative – it's like having a personal CFO for life, helping me identify patterns and make data-driven decisions about how I spend my time and energy.
